About

This blog is dedicated to looking at the Cloud Computing universe from the point of the Enterprise users. I am Suresh Damodaran, and I have been serving and evangelizing enterprise users for the past decade. I have been a software developer and software user for another decade.  I learned the pace of diffusion of technology into Enterprises as an active participant and cheerleader for the encroachment of the Internet and XML into the Enterprises. Some keywords: ebXML (I have co-authored a book on this set of great standards),  RosettaNet (I was the Chief Technologist of possibly the most adopted XML document standard for B2B for 2 years), and Sterling Commerce (which was born with EDI, and is making big strides into supply chain execution. I was with them for 8 years playing various roles).

    Dear Suresh,

Please excuse me emailing you out of the blue – I’m the Head of Marketing for Sift Media, a B2B publisher based in the UK.

We’ve recently launched BusinessCloud9 (www.businesscloud9.com), a new online title focused on Cloud Computing for business infrastructure – initially looking at the disciplines of Accounting, Finance, HR, Training, CRM and Knowledge Management.

Could I possibly point you to our press release at: http://www.siftmedia.co.uk/press/be-businesscloud9 – I’d certainly appreciate your views!

    Kind regards,
    Darren Falkingham
